NH Marine Trades Defeats HB548 which would have negatively impacted the Marine Industry and NH Boaters. Some of the changes to NH boaters would have included:

  • Kids under the age of 12 yrs would no longer be allowed to drive any motorized vessel including a rowboat or canoe with an electric motor.
  • Tourist with boats and rental agencies would no longer be able to use or rent boats under 25 hp without a certificate. This would hurt tourism in NH.
